Marina Guidelines on Lake Petit
These tips can really help you have a safe outing during your visit.
Marina Guidelines
All boats must be returned to the Marina no later than dusk and the key should be placed in the Marina "Key Return" box located under the American flag. Rental boats must be returned clean and any trash placed the trash barrel at the dock. Fines up to $ can be enforced if boats are not cleaned.
Renters must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license to rent a Pontoon or Jon boat.
The cleaning of fish is not permitted on boats or in the vicinity of the Marina.
Please use life jackets while operating or riding in or on aquatic rides or boats.
The shoreline drops off very quickly, therefore wading is strictly prohibited.
Fishing permits are required for anyone 13 or over fishing inside Big Canoe waters.
Children should always wear life jackets and be supervised by adults while at the lake.
LAKE PETIT DESIGNATED AREAS
Swimming is permitted from watercraft on Lake Petit during the designated swim season in the specifically designated area indicated on the map. Swimming is prohibited within 50 feet of any shoreline or the Marina slips or in any areas outside the designated area. Swim season is from April 1 through
