Big Canoe Postal Facility
The U.S. Postal Service does not deliver to your home. Collect your mail at the Postal Facility in Wolfscratch Village. You may request a Big Canoe box number by calling the Jasper Post Office at (706) 253-4300. After that has been assigned, you may pick up your box key at the Big Canoe Postal Facility while the US Postal delivery staff is present which is usually between 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday - Saturday (exact time varies) Since the USPS only delivers to the postal facility and all other package carriers only deliver to your home, we suggest you always use the following four line address example which includes both your Big Canoe box number and the street address:

We suggest you always use complete shipping information as seen in the example above to ensure the package reaches the correct destination regardless of the carrier as retailers such as Amazon use several different companies to deliver items. PLEASE NOTE: Do not write “PO BOX” in your address.
Your physical address is your Street Address, used for parcel deliveries made by UPS or FEDEX.
Never use only your street address. Delivery services often “hand-off” packages to the US Postal Service for final delivery. The Post Office recognizes only the 5-digit box number and delivers only to the Postal Facility.
Alpha Boxes
Property Owners use the Alpha boxes for personal communication with other Property Owners. Alpha mail must be addressed with names of who the item is to and from, and also must be dated. Alpha mail will be moved to the top cubby in each column after 30 days and will be discarded after 60. Business solicitations and promotional materials are not allowed. Big Canoe Clubs and Organizations may use the Alpha boxes to communicate with their members, but not for solicitation.
Other Postal Facilities
Stamps and full mailing services are available at the Post Office near Foothills Village at 12813 Highway 53, Marble Hill. Info: (770) 893-3364.
Package Porch
When you receive a larger package from the United States Mail Service, you can pick it up at our Package Porch which is located in Wolfscratch Village. For your convenience, they will email you when your package arrives and provide a QR code for your security upon pickup. When any other carrier delivers a package, it will go directly to your house. Amazon uses various carriers and the 4 line address must be used for all orders with them.
UPS & FedEx
UPS maintains a drop box in the Postal Facility and picks up at 4 p.m. Monday - Saturday.
FedEx has a drop box at the Chevron station on the corner of Steve Tate Highway and Route 53 across from Foothills Shopping Center. Pickup is at 4:30 p.m.
